Submitting an Activity Code

Brief Description

This workflow describes the steps for submitting an activity code in the Genesys system.

Select the Admin tab.

Select Activity Codes under the Workforce Management section.

Select the Add button to add an activity code.

Enter an activity name in the Name field.

Select a category in the Category drop-down menu.

Select a secondary status in the Secondary Status drop-down menu.

Select the length of time in the Length section.

Select the Count as Paid Time checkbox.

Select the Is Interruptible checkbox.

Select the Count as Work Time checkbox.

Select the Shrinkage Activity checkbox.

NOTE: Shrinkage is any time an agent is not on a call or off-queue.

Select the Save button.

A notification displays that the activity code was successfully added.
